Everest Pilgrim: A Solo Trek to Nepal’s Everest Base Camp and Beyond is a book I wrote about my 2013 trek in the Everest region. Below are materials supplemental to what is included in the book.

The Photos

The Map

Click the image below for the full-size map of the trek, but READ ALL OF THIS PARAGRAPH FIRST. It’s a large file—about 3.8 MB in size. Once the map has loaded, navigate to the bottom edge of the map, toward the left side. That’s where the trek starts. (If you click on the image below and it has loaded in your browser but you can’t make out any of the details, click on it again. That should expand it to its full size.) If you can get it big enough but it still looks kind of fuzzy (possibly the case if you have a very high-resolution screen), try saving the map to your device or computer and then opening it outside of the browser. It should at least look readable.

If those options don’t work, you can view an extremely large (28 MB) PDF of the map here. (Right-click the link and select Save Link As to download the map; just clicking it and waiting for it to load in your browser is not recommended unless you have a very fast Internet connection.)
